One of the hardest thing you used to deal with once coming home from Military duty was not to spend the money you just earned. There are programs out there now that help military personnel manage there money.
From Kiplinger's magazine: for your Saving or TSP Account you can invest up to $18,000 in your contribution or contribute 53k.
In the Roth Retirement Plan your contributions are all tax free with no restriction on income.
More Tax Free products that investments come in tax free and leave tax freee can be found at

Or more appropriately:

IF YOU ALREADY OWN A HOME or your thinking of buying one?
No Private Mortgage Insurance and NO down payment for military personnel...
BE AWARE however if there is a slight drop in value of the home then you could become upside down in your mortgage if you don not have enough equity.
Lastly take advantage of the Tax Free Housng Allowance where monthly subsidies cover all or part of your rent/mortgage.
Most of these programs may depend on you rank and file. Perhaps you have a question where I could assist in conveyance of a mortgage officer specializing in VA mortgages. Email me at Robleyalbright@gmail.com or Text me at 419-261-0237.
God Bless and Hope this is received well.
